My subsequent study of deep meditation techniques, breathing practices and kriya chakra work, alongside the current research on the phenomenal restorative neurological effects of yoga and meditation on our mental health, have helped me form a personal practice that I love to teach.
In 2023 I graduated as a yoga therapist, having completed the 600 hour yoga therapy diploma for yoga professionals with Heather Mason, founder of the Minded Institute in London.
These teachers, and many other skilled professionals, have had a profound influence on my teaching and personal practice, and they continue to positively impact my practice and path to deeper understanding, embodiment and growth.
Each yoga session with me starts with a fun, intuitive sequence of asanas (postures) suitable for all levels from beginners to the more experienced, followed by simple breathing exercises, and a deep relaxation practice (yoga nidra). We weave traditional yogic philosophical ideas into our practice, bringing them up to date so they fit effortlessly into our modern lives. You will leave the class feeling relaxed, light, and full of calm energy, able to better cope with fast-paced modern life.
